An “old salt” is a seasoned sailor, a keeper of stories, and a quiet authority shaped by time on the water. Old Salt draws from that tradition, honoring the history, grit, and lived experience passed down through generations of mariners.
Handcrafted from white cedar and poplar wood, this Florida flag features layered coastal tones inspired by weathered docks, open water, and sun-bleached horizons. A full-color Florida state seal anchors the center, adding contrast and depth to the muted, time-worn palette.
Each piece is intentionally finished to highlight natural grain and texture. A crystal-clear, high-gloss two-part epoxy resin seal comes standard, protecting the artwork while enhancing color and detail. While Old Salt is designed with Florida conditions in mind, we recommend hanging it out of direct sunlight and constant exposure to the elements for long-term durability, similar to how you’d treat a TV on a lanai.

Every Old Salt flag is custom-made to order, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Please allow up to four weeks for production. We’ll keep you updated via email and/or text throughout the process. Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number. Shipping is free via UPS Ground, with Florida deliveries typically arriving within one to two business days.
